Issue Based Work - This work
shows a journey into parenting and the joys and conflicts
that arise.
The
textiles are distorted and pulled in different directions
symbolizing the roles a woman has to fill, self and loss of
self.
The
influence of my work has been from the constraints of the
corset, creating beautiful and complex three dimensional shapes.
This
work is highly suitable for gallery display because of it's
scale and presence.
